Her yoga focus first began at 16 when she started doing yoga
at Phoenix College where she was studying music & dance and she found that Yoga took her dance to a whole new level.
Her yoga teacher at Phoenix College was part of the 3HO Seeks - and she took many of their classes all about how to be a healthy vegetarian
that she has been for over 3 decades now.

Shri Raman was a wonderful 80 year old young soul - 5'2" 120 pounds
and supple as a teenager - with a wonderous joy of life.
He had a yoga practice for over 50 years and taught for 35 of those years.
He was also an animal activist & devote vegetarian walking the path of harmlessness.
He had all his students come to do yoga with him before the sun rose so it could be shared as the sun rose - outside in the Arizona desert breeze.
The yoga training was each morning for 90 days
from Fall Equinox to Winter Solstice.
After yoga he would serve fruit salad and talk about various aspects of the life of a yogi.
He asked his teacher training students to also do 30 hours of an Activist Project as part of their Astanga Yoga Teacher's Training. Aliah put together a show she called -
A Dancer For Peace that was inspired by Peace Pilgrim
who walked 7x's across the US in the name of peace - teaching peace -
what it feels & looks like in everyday life.
She took this show to Israel at a 2000+ people Kabbutz, France at a Yoga Festival and Amsterdam where she was on the same bill as
Timothy Leary's Evolution Tour.
She has since developed her own style of Yoga based on the
Astanga set that she learned from Shri Raman.
YOGADANCE FLOW is a continuous moving mantra meditation yoga
that repeats movements until one moves on to the next one.
Then you add the self massage on hands, feet, face and ears.
She taught YOGADANCE FLOW at Being Fit, San Diego
in her Intermediate Class.
There is a song mantra that helps to guide the person through
LOOK TO THE SUN (& the lesser known LOOK TO THE MOON)

She has also studied Ashtanga Yoga with David Swenson
who is a master of Astanga with a soft spoken heart of gold
that keeps you motivated and calm at the same time.
He studied with the father of Ashtanga - K. Pattabhi Jois in Mysore, India.
She has taught Yogadance Flow to adults in Health Clubs,
and in Private Sessions, and with kids in schools.
She is now also a Qi Gong Instructor under Lee Holden L.Ac.
She is developing a Qi Gong Wellness For Optimal Learning School Program.
She is also developing Sacred Sign Dancing Qi Gong - that uses Yoga (mudras & poses),
Sign Language, and Qi Gong with Modern Dance for music videos to her music.
